We Won TADHack Sri Lanka 2017

As well as last time, I could be in the winning team at the TADHack Sri Lanka 2017. TADHack is world largest telco application development hackathon, primarily for telecom application developers who get together to innovate, code, learn and share using telecom tools and technologies. TADHack 2017 was held simultaneously in 25 locations around the world and TADHack Sri Lanka 2017 was organized by hSenid Mobile Solutions for the fourth consecutive year in Colombo. This time I got the team leadership and I was very lucky to be the leader of such a great team. Our team name was "Wolves" and it was very funny when others call us wolves. Our team members were Pasindu Wijesena, Thilara Ekanayake, Hirantha Rathnayake, Sasindu Jayashma and Ravindu Perera (me :}).

The total basic idea to develop a product for TADHack 2017 was given by Pasindu Wijesena and others helped a lot to develop the idea to get the final product. Our project name is Trigger. Trigger is a mobile based service which can be used to automate daily tasks and broadcast the information to necessary parties of interest. The whole client side of the mobile application was coded by Hirantha Rathnayake. I and Pasindu Wijesena cared about the server side of the mobile application. Sasindu Jayashma helped us with his graphic designing experiences and I should thank Thisara Jayasinghe who designed the Trigger logo. Actually that logo also was a key fact to with this hackathon. Thanks again Thisara!!!

All the strategies and the marketing plans were done by Thilara Ekanayake, Pasindu and me. We held few meet-ups in McDonald's and few food courts to figure out the final product idea and strategies and marketing plans.

It was a 24 hours hackathon and there ware mentors to help us during the hackathon. There ware so many good foods also :). Our presentation was reviewed by Mr. Roshanth Gardiarachchi and Mr. Balathasan Sayanthan gave us a lot of advices to make the final presentation.
